Recovery Month

Recovery is a journey, not a destination!

September is recovery month. This is an opportunity to celebrate the courage, resilience, and strength of individuals navigating behavioral health and substance use challenges. Recovery looks different for everyone. For some, it may mean maintaining sobriety or managing symptoms; for others, it may mean reconnecting with family, finding purpose, building healthy routines, or taking the first step toward asking for support.

At ICFS, we believe recovery is not defined by perfection - it is defined by progress. Every conversation, every goal accomplished, every setback overcome, and every decision to keep moving forward is art of the journey. This Recovery Month, we celebrate the individuals who continue to choose themselves, their wellness, and their future. We recognize the importance of supportive communities and the professionals, peers, families, and loved ones who help make recovery possible.

There is STRENTH in asking for help. There is COURAGE in starting again. And there is HOPE in knowing that recovery is possible.
